At VCU, we’re proud of the sophisticated, data-informed work we do every day to grow and protect one of the nation’s most innovative public university brands. From nuanced storytelling and digital targeting strategies to SEO optimization and sentiment analysis, our marketing and communications work is deeply strategic … and often quite complex.
But every now and then, it’s the simple things that make the biggest impact.
That’s why I loved seeing some giant black and gold VCU busses cruising through downtown D.C. or navigating the neighborhoods of Northern Virginia. There’s something fun about showing up boldly in the communities where our current and future Rams live, learn and lead.
Yes, we’ll continue to refine digital personas and craft precision content strategies. But we’ll also keep finding big, memorable ways to make people stop and say, “Hey, there goes VCU.”
Because in a world of endless screens and shrinking attention spans, sometimes the best way to stand out is to simply show up -- wrapped in black and gold.
